About The Morning Ritual

The Morning Ritual is a communal destination for alternative and creative health-focussed practices.

We believe that small habits equate to profound change. The Morning Ritual is built on the ethos that by incorporating intentional, habitual creativity into our daily routines, we can all find a greater sense of inner joy, profound change and healthier lives. We achieve this through our meditative teachings and meeting places, or what we like to call our ‘Rituals’.

Meditation means the practice of focussing attention on the processes and actions of everyday life. It is an invitation to slow down and to bring attention to the way we live our lives. And in doing so, find a renewed sense of understanding, purpose and awareness. Delivered as a virtual experience, or from our bases set in the beautiful jungle of Mexico, our Rituals promote:

The Thinking Ritual

Led by our health practitioners, these workshops (seen as an introduction in The Writing Ritual read more here) will demystify how lan- guage informs the way we live our lives. How do we acquire knowledge and where is it stored? How do we communicate that knowledge to the world around us? And how does the effective application of that knowledge help our everyday lives. The Writing Ritual

The Writing Ritual guides you through the incorporation of writing into the heart of your day. It offers a grounding space for quiet stillness, before the realities of the day kick in. Record your experiences, reflect on your writing, and chart your course for the future. You don’t need to be an expert writer; you don’t need to share your writing with anyone else – just turn the page and let your words write your next chapter. Our online course is designed to be completed from the comfort of your home, and you’ll receive a beautiful, hand-bound journal, with a cover built of yarn derived from ocean plastics.

The Feeling Ritual

To understand our bodies is to understand ourselves. The Feeling Ritual lets you tap into your internal landscape, to get in touch with your intuition, your senses and the way you work. Through this unique method of conscious bodywork, you’ll learn techniques that help build health awareness and the importance of restoration and regulation of the nervous system. The Making Ritual

Craft and creativity are powerful gateways to daily happiness. We live in a world where we are buying time, but at The Morning Ritual, our ethos is to slow down, ground in the moment and celebrate the process. The Making Ritual serves to educate through collaborations with different artists who share their stories of ritual. We believe in the act of making as a “health-giving process”. That the process of thinking, feeling, and doing makes us whole. It is important for us to work with carefully selected individuals, choosing collaborations where traditional craft and the hand of the maker is at the heart.
